Considered as the most successful racing car ever made, the Bugatti Type 35 amassed over 1,000 victories between 1924 and 1930. Introduced by Ettore Bugatti at the 1924 French Grand Prix, the Type 35 has since become the single most iconic prewar racer of all time, and a true embodiment of the art of motion, and, like the 250 GTO or 300SL Gullwing, a must-have piece in any serious car collection. A reliable straight-eight engine, paired to a four-speed manual gearbox, was at the heart of this legendary automobile, along with brake drums, alloy wheels, supercharging (1926 onwards), and louvered aluminium bodywork.
This 1:8 scale model reproduces the Type 30 in minute detail. Built out of metal, rubber and plastic by Jean-Paul Fontenelle in the 2000’s, this exquisite model comes with a plexiglass display case.
