If you are looking to acquire a vintage racing chronograph but don’t want to shell over $10,000 USD in an Heuer Carrera, consider this rare Marsac chronograph!
Marsac is one of many defunct Swiss brands that operated in the 1950’s and 1960’s using generic Venus and Landeron movements in cases of their own manufacture and design. While rare, these chronographs are an inexpensive way to get started in the vintage watch hobby.
This 18k gold, two-register chronograph received a comprehensive restoration and service in 2020, totaling over $2,000 USD, to look and perform like new. Much like its more expensive counterparts, it features a kmph tachymeter and a Landeron 51 movement.
