This car is a fresh restoration (by Ireson Motorsports, Fort Myers, Florida), with few miles since the 11 month restoration was complete. Multiple award winner, JCNA Concours winner with a score of 99.56 Champion Class (Suncoast Jaguar Club Concours), and Best of Show Awards.
This perfect E-Type has won every show entered. The beautiful restoration has left nothing undone. The car has been sorted mechanically since the restoration was completed, and runs out smoothly and strongly.
This beautiful example was restored as Paul Ireson’s personal car, as a sister to his 1966 FHC. Family circumstances required him to offer this superb example to the most discriminating collector.
He chose this car for restoration due to it’s premium status in the car range. Those that know the Series I’s know that 1965, 1966, and 1967 are the most desirable and collectible of all E-Types produced. He chose the colour “Carmen Red” with a biscuit interior as, to him, it was the right colour for this car and the best to show off the stunning lines of this classic.
