Following the vast success of the 365 Boxer of the early 70’s, Ferrari went a step further with the 512 BB. This new release still stuck to the Boxer Berlinetta traditions but sported a superior engine.

However, in order to meet US regulations, a cleaner fuel injected version of the 512 was created (hence the “I” in “BBi”). The flat 12 engine provides a smooth delivery of power, in addition to a silky idle level with virtually no vibration.
