Owning a McLaren Speedtail is no short of a privilege, but one that comes at a very high cost. A few dollars can buy a small Speedtail reproduction to scale, but in no way a genuine McLaren product.

Given each Speedtail’s degree of customization, the brand keeps a very close relationship with prospective owners to spec each car. The sky is the limit! One of the stages of customization is the selection the car’s body colour, which is presented to each owner as a set of hollow plastic Speedtail sculptures in different hues. In our particular case, we were set on a blue Speedtail, and we considered darker tones to spec our own car, chassis 002.
