Established by Austrian billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz, Scuderia Toro Rosso is one of two F1 racing teams under the umbrella of the famed Red Bull energy drink brand. A junior to Red Bull Racing, Toro Rosso is aimed at developing drivers with high potential to compete on a senior level.
The STR8 is the team’s eighth F1 car for the 2013 racing season, and the last car to feature a Ferrari engine in V8 configuration before switching to Renault V6 engines in 2014.
Procured from one of the sponsors of the team in Abu Dhabi, this brake assembly is a genuine STR8 spare for the car used in the 2013 season, at the hands of Daniel Ricciardo and Jean-Éric Vergne.
