A miniaturized tribute to the most famous race car of the 1950s – our 300 SLR is fully motorized with a two-stroke engine.
Underneath the hood of the (full-size) SLR was a 2,496-litre straight-eight engine with an output of 310bhp. With a dry weight of 880kg, it was enough to propel the SLR to victory to 1-2 victories in the Targa Florio, victory in the World Sportscar Championship, and most famously of all, the magnificent success in the Mille Miglia of 1955 with Stirling Moss behind the wheel: widely considered the greatest racing drive of all time.
