The boxer-engined R69S represented a new era in the motorcycle division of Bayerische Motoren Werke. This larger, 600cc cruiser was equipped with 42 horsepower. Due to its hefty 1960’s price tag, it was deemed by most to be too expensive, and therefore was not purchased in high numbers. The rarity of the R69S certainly donates to its desirability.
This late-production example is presented after a thorough restoration, and is eager to hit the streets.
