When Lancia were looking into a lightweight, futuristically designed sports car, they consulted the Bertone design house.

Bertone responded with a radical-looking design, which went on to be fitted with a powerful Ferrari Dino V6, which –in competition form- would win the world rally championship three times. The Stratos was one of the many cars that made Lancia the great –albeit sometimes forgotten- automotive producer that it was.
