Honda had a strong Formula 1 presence in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s, having provided engines for the Williams and McLaren racing teams. This gave them the opportunity to utilize the expertise of the legendary Ayrton Senna to develop a new supercar to compete against its more exotic contemporaries, especially the Ferrari 328 and 348. The result of these efforts was the Honda NSX, a car that earned countless praise for the rigidity of its chassis, agile handling, and ergonomic cockpit resembling that of an F-16 fighter jet. Even Gordon Murray, one of the UK’s most influential car designers, cited the NSX as a major inspiration for his masterpiece, the McLaren F1.

This exceptionally original, well maintained example is presented in a desirable black-on-black colour combination, and has clocked less than 3,000 original miles since it rolled off the showroom floor in California back in 1992.
