Named after the famous Tour de France, the automotive competition that took place between 1899 and 1986, the Ferrari F12tdf is a track-focused version of the Ferrari F12. Much like Ferrari’s original Tour de France competitors, the F12tdf sports a front-V12, rear-wheel-drive GT layout paying tribute to the 250 GT berlinettas that led the brand to victory between 1956 and 1964. Enhancements include 50 additional horsepower (780hp total) and a weight difference of 110kg versus its standard F12 counterparts, with a limited production run of 799 units.
Performance was the creed by which the F12tdf abides. When released, the F12tdf was the fourth most powerful road-going Ferrari ever, surpassed only by the 812, the LaFerrari, and most recently, the SF90. Acceleration numbers did not disappoint, either: 0 to 100kph in 2.9 seconds and 0kph to 200kmph in 7.9 seconds, with a top speed in excess of 340kmph.
This particular, one-owner F12tdf was imported new by Al Tayer Motors of Dubai, and is original throughout. Sporting little over than 250 original kilometres, it is finished in a classic Rosso Corsa over Cuoio Alcantara leather, and comes with a full array of original accessories, including its Attestation Certificate for Special Series Vehicles, or ‘yellow book’.
